First Impressions Last

Monday, April 26th, 2010

First impressions in a business are very important like in a person you need to a have good impression to others so that you will become comfortable with them. It is simply because when you have your good impression you can have many friends like in a business if they feel that they are comfortable in your business it will became successful and you can have your loyal client.

The truth is first impressions last meaning whatever the first impression of people to you is their last impression to you until the end of the world, so make sure that you have a good impression to other people, it is a big advantage to you when you have your business. Like what I experience before I’m applying for a Business Loan in a bank, it is just a Small Business Loans, what happen is even thought I don’t know yet the results I know that my application is not approved, I know that because I saw the first impression of the bank teller in my application she has a feeling of not comfortable in my application. I’m not expecting for a good result that’s why I apply another Business Loan in the bank.

Best Friends

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

I have my two best friends. We were all so close to each other. We have the same likes and doesn’t like. We also have the same interests in life like some making funny stuffs. We were all girls, I can say that these girls are the best they are all there whenever I need them.

I remember before we start this business of ours. We have a dilemma which business do we need to open with small capital. And because we are three we can share the expenses. We came up in a printing blank t-shirts business, because it was the best business in that time. Imagine with a cheap blank t-shirts you can have your own chosen design. That idea came when we are doing our own friendship t-shirt and because we are very talented to do artworks or to do drawings we came up to this business. And when we are choosing the place where we can do the printing stuffs, we came up in renting one of the studios beside the market so that the costumers will easily see the shop. Then when the place was already settled we are about to think where we can find a blank t shirts wholesale.  Then because we are beside only in the market we easily can access on the store where we bought the blank t shirts. I forgot, the printing materials also become one of the problems we faced. On the first months of our business we used manual printing then later on we came up into a machine printing. Now, we are on our 2nd year of serving people. We are busy when election was near because of the orders of the candidates. On that event we double our production and we have a chance to add some more machine.

Set Boundaries with Your Boss

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

Does boss frequently e-mail you on weekends, and sometimes even calls you on your home phone? If your answer is yes, what do you do? According to the founder of a billion dollar real estate business, many women are timid about setting boundaries at work because they fear it makes them look like “not a team player”  or even worse, “ not nice.” But learning to say “no” when it’s appropriate is an important key to success.

Good boundaries not only protect your weekends and vacations, but they also prevent burnout on the job. And while it’s important that you be available and enthusiastic at work, it’s equally essential that your employer respect your personal life. But how do you say “no” so that it won’t feel like a “no” to your boss? Tip: tell her in advance “I usually don’t’ check my e-mail on weekends, but if you really need to reach me and it can’t wait till Monday. Please call my cell.”
